Prof. MOHAN KOLHE is with the University of Agder (Norway) as full professor in electrical power engineering with focus in smart grid and renewable energy in the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He has also received the offer of full professorship in smart grid from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has more than twenty-five-years' academic experience at international level on electrical and renewable energy systems. He is a leading renewable energy technologist and has previously held academic positions at the world's prestigious universities. He was also a member of the Government of South Australia's Renewable Energy Board (2009-2011) and worked on developing renewable energy policies. He was also leading the EU FP7 Smart Grid-ICT project 'Scalable Energy Management Infrastructure for Household' as Technical Manager (2014-2017). His academic work ranges from the smart grid, grid integration of renewable energy systems, home energy management system, integrated renewable energy systems for hydrogen production, techno-economics of energy systems, solar and wind energy engineering, development of business models for distributed generation etc. He also did extensive teaching in renewable and electrical energy systems engineering as well as in energy economics. He has published extensively in the energy systems engineering. He has been invited by many international organizations for delivering expert lectures/ courses/ key note addresses/ workshops.
Title: Hydrogen and Renewables Synergy: Pathways to a Carbon-Free Energy Economy
Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from the Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey, in 1974 and received his PhD from Dicle University, Diyarbakir. He conducted postdoctoral research at Surrey University, UK (1986–1987), focusing on shape memory alloys. He began his academic career as a research assistant at Dicle University (1975–1980) before moving to Firat University, where he became a professor in 1996. He retired after 45 years of academic service, reaching the age limit of 67. He has published over 80 papers in international and national journals and participated in more than 120 conferences as a plenary, keynote, invited, or regular speaker, and poster presenter. Between 2014 and 2019 alone, he spoke at over 60 conferences in various countries and served as a program or conference chair/co-chair. Since retiring in late 2019, he has delivered more than 230 keynote/plenary talks at virtual conferences during the pandemic and beyond (2020–2024). Dr. Adiguzel also served as Director of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Firat University (1999–2004), and supervised 5 PhD and 3 MSc theses. He has been a technical committee member for numerous conferences. His group received recognition from the ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) for contributing two patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000.

Professor Paulo César De Morais, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013. Appointed as UnB’s (Brazil) Emeritus Professor (2014); Visiting Professor at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015); Distinguished Professor at the Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019); Full Professor at the Catholic University of Brasília (CUB) – Brazil (2018); CNPq-1A Research Fellow since 2010; 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research, New Jersey – USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) – Brazil. With more than 13,500 citations, He has published more than 500 papers (Web of Science), delivered more than 200 international invited talks (35 countries), and filed 16 patents.

Dr. SA Sherif is a tenured Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He is a Life Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a Life Fellow of ASHRAE, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a Fellow of the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE), an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), a Vice President of Commission B-2 of the International Institute of Refrigeration, a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, and Founding Member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Programs for ASTFE. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications (2014-2019) and as Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering (2020-2028). Dr. Sherif has 600 publications and two US patents.

Xuelin Zhang is currently an associate professor at School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. He graduated from Department of Applied Chemistry from Harbin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in 2001. Then he got his M.S. and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering & Technology in 2005 and 2009 at Harbin Institute of Technology, respectively. He came to University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 2016 and 2017 as a visiting scholar. His major research interests range from nanomaterials for electrochemistry, PowerMEMS devices, and micro fuel cell systems. He has published more than 70 papers and filed more than 30 patents. He has also been invited by many international organizations for delivering expert lectures/ courses/ key note addresses.
