Professor Dr Mohan L Kolhe,

Professor (Dr) Mohan Kolhe is with the University of Agder (Norway) as full professor in electrical power engineering with focus on smart grid and renewable energy in the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He has also received the offer of full professorship in smart grid from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has more than twenty-five years’ academic experience at international level on electrical and renewable energy systems. He is a leading renewable energy technologist and has previously held academic positions at the world's prestigious universities e.g. University College London (UK / Australia), University of Dundee (UK); University of Jyvaskyla (Finland); Hydrogen Research Institute, QC (Canada); etc.

      Title: Solar Photocatalysis for Hydrogen Power and Fuel Cell
Prof. Michael Leung received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, U.S.A. in 1995. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong before joining the City University of Hong Kong in 2010. Presently, Prof. Leung is a Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at CityU and the Director of Ability R&D Energy Research Centre at CityU. Prof. Leung's main research interests are solar photocatalysis, fuel-cell electrochemistry and advanced refrigeration and air-conditioning. He has published 140+ journal papers, 16 books/book chapters, and 7 patents. He is listed in the Most Cited Researchers in Energy Science and Engineering by Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects by Elsevier. The research grants he received add up to a total above HK$40M (US$5M). Prof. Leung is also the Chairman in the Education and Examinations Committee of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), a Past Chairman of the Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch), a Chartered Engineer, and a Registered Professional Engineer. He is serving as an editor in the editorial boards of Applied Energy and HKIE Transactions.

  Title: Assessing Material Qualities of Silicon for Solar cell applications:Strategies and Innovations
Professor (Dr.) Somenath Chatterjee is currently Head at Centre for Materials Science & Nanotechnology department, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), India in 2004. He was National Science Foundation post-doctoral fellow at Texas A&M University, USA from 2003 to 2006 and CNRS fellow, France during 2008–2009. He was also associated as a Nanotechnology Scientist at South Dakota State University, USA from 2007 to 2008. He worked at various Academic Institutions as Faculty in India. He published more than 115 SCI/Scopus recommended journals and proceedings at National and International level. His research interest includes the fabrication of Silicon based Solar cell device and photo-catalytic degradation of organic dyes by Zn-based nanomaterials, advanced electronic transistor devices: MOSFET and TFT devices and cost-effective Graphene (mono-layer of graphite) fabrication from natural cellulosic materials and its applications for Gas-sensors, electrodes in Super-capacitors.
