Professor (Dr) Mohan Kolhe is with the University of Agder (Norway) as full professor in electrical power engineering with focus on smart grid and renewable energy in the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He has also received the offer of full professorship in smart grid from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has more than twenty-five years’ academic experience at international level on electrical and renewable energy systems. He is a leading renewable energy technologist and has previously held academic positions at the world's prestigious universities e.g. University College London (UK / Australia), University of Dundee (UK); University of Jyvaskyla (Finland); Hydrogen Research Institute, QC (Canada); etc.

Title: Solar Photocatalysis for Hydrogen Power and Fuel Cell
Prof. Michael Leung received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, U.S.A. in 1995. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong before joining the City University of Hong Kong in 2010. Presently, Prof. Leung is a Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at CityU and the Director of Ability R&D Energy Research Centre at CityU. Prof. Leung's main research interests are solar photocatalysis, fuel-cell electrochemistry and advanced refrigeration and air-conditioning. He has published 140+ journal papers, 16 books/book chapters, and 7 patents. He is listed in the Most Cited Researchers in Energy Science and Engineering by Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects by Elsevier. The research grants he received add up to a total above HK$40M (US$5M). Prof. Leung is also the Chairman in the Education and Examinations Committee of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), a Past Chairman of the Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch), a Chartered Engineer, and a Registered Professional Engineer. He is serving as an editor in the editorial boards of Applied Energy and HKIE Transactions.

Title: Solar and Energy Storage – Global Outlook in Smart Grid Perspective
UMASHANKAR SUBRAMANIAM (M’09-SM’18) is Associate Dean – School of Engineering, GD Goenka University, NewDelhi and Visiting Associate Professor in Renewable Energy Lab, College of Engineering, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He has 15+ years of teaching, research and industrial R&D experience. Previously, he worked as Associate Professor and Head, VIT Vellore as well as Senior R&D and Senior Application Engineer in the field of power electronics, renewable Energy and electrical drives. He is a Senior member-IEEE, and Member of IACSIT, IDES and ISTE. He has taken charge as Vice Chair - IEEE Madras Section and Chair - IEEE Student Activities from 2018. He was executive member (2014-16) and Vice Chair of IEEE MAS Young Professional from 2017 by IEEE Madras Section. He has published more than 250+ research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has also authored/co-authored/contributed 12 books/chapters and 12 technical articles on power electronics applications in renewable energy and allied areas. He is an Editor of Heliyon, an Elsevier journal. He received Danfoss Innovator Award-Mentor during 2014-15 & 2017-18, Research Award from VIT University during 2013-18. Also he received the INAE Summer Research Fellowship for the year 2014. Under his guidance 24 P.G students and more than 25 U.G Students completed the senior design project work. Also 6 PhD scholars completed Doctoral thesis as Research Associate. He is also involved in collaborative research projects with various international and national level organizations and research institutions.

Dr. Mohd Hasmizam Razali

Title: NANO-CAT: CO2 Greenhouse Gas Converter into Fuels
Mohd Hasmizam Razali has a PhD degree in Materials Engineering (Nanomaterials) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), MSc. in Chemistry (Catalyst) and B.Sc (Hons) in Chemical Industry from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Currently he is a Senior Lecturer at School of Fundamental Science, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Malaysia. He has published more than 50 technical papers in journals and conference proceedings locally and internationally related to the nanomaterials and functional materials research. Owing to their significant impacts to the science, economy and society, his innovative research and inventions have attracted global and national interests, enabling him to secure financial support from both private and government agencies. He has been awarded Who’s Who in the World for 3 years in a row 2013, 2014 and 2015 by The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board. In 2014, the Cambridge Biographical Centre listed him as one of 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, due its ability to produce nanomaterials with tremendous improvement compared to conventional commercial materials. On top of that, he is also the recipient of the MAWHIBA Award and GENEVA Gold Medal Award in 1999.

Title:A global perspective on economic feasibility of small scale PV systems
Morgado-Dias received his Master’s degree in Microelectronics from the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France in 1995 and his PhD from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2005 and is currently Assistant professor at the University of Madeira and Researcher at Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute. His research unit is graded as excellent and is a private entity created between the University of Madeira, Carnegie Mellon University (United States) and the regional Government of Madeira.
He has published more than 100 scientific documents between journal and conference papers, reports and thesis, and currently has over 1000 citations on scholar google. He is member and former President and Vice-President of the Portuguese Association of Automatic Control. He is also former Pro-Rector of the University of Madeira and former visiting faculty at Carnegie Mellon University (United States). His research interests include Sleep Quality, Artificial Neural Networks, FPGA implementations and Renewable Energy.

Title:Fabrication and evaluation of electroplated Ni-B-diamond and Ni-Cr-C-diamond milling tools with high cutting ability
Ching An Huang received the B. S. degree in Department of Mechanical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1983 and Dr.-Ing. in Department of Materials Engineering from Aachen University, Germany, in 1993. In 2006, he joined the faculty of Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His main research interests are microstructure analysis of materials, electropolishing behavior, corrosion engineering, and electroplating technology. Based on his research results, he published about 75 articles in SCI journals, such as Corrosion Science, Thin Solid Films, Surface and Coatings Technology, Electrochimica Acta, and Materials Science and Engineer A etc. Moreover, he got about 10 patents from Taiwan, Main China, USA, and Japan.
