The history from 2015 to 2019
The International Symposium on Hydrogen Energy, Renewable Energy, and Materials (HEREM) was initiated by the International Energy and Environmental Research Institute (IEERI) in 2015 to promote research and applications in energy and materials science.
2015-2016: The first and second HEREM internal discussions were held in Hong Kong, China, focusing on advancements in hydrogen energy, renewable energy, and materials science.
2017 (Third HEREM, October 14-15, 2017, Bangkok, Thailand): The symposium was held as an in-person event for the first time, expanding discussions on energy and materials research.
2018 (Fourth HEREM, June 13-15, 2018, Bangkok, Thailand): Continued discussions with broader participation from researchers and professionals in the field.
2019 (Fifth HEREM, June 13-14, 2019, Bangkok, Thailand): Strengthened HEREM’s role as a platform for academic exchange in energy and materials.
